Dr. Kolachalam’s office hours

Our main office in Novi is open Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm to answer any questions and to assist with patient needs as best we can through communication with Dr. Kolachalam. Office hours for patients to see Dr. Kolachalam for consultations, post-operative visits and follow-up visits are Thursday afternoon from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

Our satellite office in Livonia has late hours on Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm to accommodate patients and their working hours, so that a minimal amount of time is lost from their working schedules. For patients that would prefer earlier hours; our satellite office in Southfield is available on Thursday mornings from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

If you need to visit the wound clinic in Novi, Dr. Kolachalam is here on Mondays 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm for your convenience.

Initial visits or Consultation visits can take up to 15 to 20 minutes. I take my time to get to know you and your medical history to give you the best possible care for your individual needs. This is the best time to go over all your concerns and questions. On our “What to bring to your first visit” page, new and existing patients can download New Patient Forms, HIPPA forms, and disability forms to fill out before coming to the office.

Please bring your identification, all appropriate insurance cards (so we can ensure that your visit will be billed properly), and the New Patient Packet filled out as completely as possible. This saves 10 – 15 minutes in waiting time at the office.

As a reminder our Payment Policy is to collect all co-pays and outstanding balances upon each visit, so be prepared to settle your account responsibilities before leaving our office. We accept Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards.

We gladly accept most major insurance plans, but we urge you to check with your provider before coming in so that you are aware of your coverage and any associated costs. Feel free to check our insurance & disability page in the primary menu for an idea of the plans we accept.
