About Dr. Kolachalam

Dr. Kolachalam is the Section Chief of the Department of General Surgery at Providence Hospital and Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at Michigan State University. He has been a Board Certified surgeon in Novi, MI since 1995, and while he does a broad range of general surgery and wound care his main interest is in minimally invasive abdominal surgery, Da Vinci Surgery, endocrine surgery (thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands), and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).
Our general surgeon is in private practice and works in Providence Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital. Also, he is part of the teaching faculty at these hospitals. Dr. Kolachalam is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art surgical, diagnostic, and treatment technology, as well as offering support groups and community resources.
Dr. Kolachalam has performed over 1,000 Da Vinci robotics cases and is a proven professional in robotic surgery.
He believes in compassionate patient care and is dedicated to compassionate patient care. They are dedicated to making sure that you receive the best treatment possible.
